Privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

This policy explains what eMedPortal collects, why we collect it and what choices you have.

1. What we collect

Account details you give us (name, email address, phone number, postal address, the course you are preparing for, your scheduled exam date and how many times you have sat the exam) and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.

Learning activity: answers you submit, questions you flag for review and mock-test attempts and scores.

Purchase records: the product, plan, amount and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

Basic usage data such as which product pages were viewed, used to understand which courses are in demand.

2. Why we use it

To give you access to what you bought, to show your progress and results, to support you when something goes wrong, to prevent account sharing, and to improve the content.

3. Who we share it with

Our payment processor, our hosting and database providers, and email delivery for transactional messages. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

4. Cookies

We set a single, essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising.

5. How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Learning activity is deleted with your account.

6. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. The final policy will name the data controller, the retention periods and the supervisory authority that applies.
